“Aviation and Insurance”, a family tradition since
1958. After being discharged from the Army, in the mid 1950’s, Earl
Tillman began selling life insurance. The Piper Tri-Pacer would depart
Craig Field, Jacksonville, Florida. Within minutes the Tri-Pacer would
land in the dairy farmers pasture, and the selling of life insurance
began.

Once a person purchased a policy, they would be given a
ride around the area from tree top level. The love of flying and the
business of aviation has changed very little from the early days.
In 1986, the family tradition progressed into the
creation of Aviation Insurance Brokers of North America. This
organization was specifically designed to market aviation-only related
products. Typical Products insured are, Aircraft, Helicopter, FBO’s,
Flight Schools, Maintenance facilities, Pipe Line Patrol, cadaver hauling,
etc... Simply put, we can insure most aviation related risk.
We’ve owned and operated many aircraft over the last 45
years, including, our current planes...Cessna 182RG, Aero Commander
500A-Colemill, and our Piper Colt Taildragger. In the past we’ve owned and
flown a Cessna 421, Beech Baron 58P, Beech 18, Piper Geronimo, and the
Piper Aztec C.
